So after many times of having the soap dispenser dropped into it, our pedestal sink in the half bath gave up and broke! Huge hole right in the bowl. So while we were going to have to replace the sink we decided to do a mini redecorating job. There were a few things that had bothered me since we moved: the towel rack hanging over the lightswitch, no storage due to a pedestal sink and the toilet paper rack not matching the light fixture style. So on our tight budget we set to work. J did most the work and it looks fabulous. We painted, got a new sink w/storage cabinet, new towel and toilet paper rack, and he also moved the towel rod to the opposite wall. The last touch was a fake roman shade I had seen in a home design magazine and wanted to try to make to add a finishing touch.
I also made the fake shade for my scrapbook area. It's so bright and cheery, I love it. If I really could sew I would probably make E a duvet out of this fabric.
