APPLE FARM

Sorry this is out of order but I realized I hadn't posted it. We had never seen or heard of an all white peacock and thought this guy was so cool. And again you can see the other dude trying to corner the poor girl.

We have a local apple farm that is a fun place to spend an afternoon. It is just a small family operation but they have the most amazing homemade apple cider doughnuts and marionberry doughnuts too! I am getting hungry just thinking about them.
All the goats were giving birth, had just given birth, or were about to while we were there. These little goats were only a few hours old. So sweet.
These were all pregnant mama goats. They were a bit to aggresive for V's liking, but having been pregnant not to long ago myself I remember how you don't get between a prego mama and food, hahaha.

I felt a little sorry for this lady peacock, the dude was so aggresive he kept cornering her. She didn't want anything to do with him.

The funniest part of the day though was overhearing a conversation one of farm workers was having on his cell phone. He was a teenage boy and he was moving some of mama and baby goats into different pens. Here is what we overheard and I had to bite my lip so hard not to laugh b/c it's not an excuse you hear everyday:"Hey, you waiting for me. I got caught up with some goats, got a few more to go. I'll be there soon." It's not as funny typed out but if you could have seen the kid carrying a goat in one arm and talking on the cellphone in the other it was amusing, I promise.
