V's First Summer Camp

My parents are spending a week down in Sunriver, OR for a last little vacay before summer is over. J and I were able to come down for the long weekend but then had to return for work and he stayed with the grandparents. We have missed him tons but he is having lots of fun with them as evident by the fabulous email we got from him last night:


Dear Mommy and Daddy,
I had a wonderful time playing with Grandpa and Grandma. We stayed in our pj's most of the morning because it was only in the 50's, whatever that means.
Then about 10:30 we got dressed real fast and took a CAR ride to TT. It was only 4 miles south of Sun River. There wasn't much there so they quickly drove back and took me straight to Ft. Rock playground. Grandma took a few pictures of us but then went to the car to rest....she has an owie back..
After we played we came home for lunch and I was ready for nap time. You will be proud of me. I slept for two hours again today. I must need my rest...As soon as I woke up I was ready for another bike ride...And guess what Grandpa was already dressed and laying on the couch waiting for me to wake up...We had a snack and then left for our ride...It was nice and warm.74...
Grandma walked down to the mall area and waited for us.
When we got there Grandpa bought a sweatshirt and Grandma and I waited outside so I wouldn't have to get out of the carrier. Off we went to the playground again and Grandma walked back to our vacation home.
When we got home Grandma had dinner ready for us..I ate real good. Nuggets, squash,crackers, and 1/2 c pudding.
You know mommy and daddy we saw another deer today. That means we have seen one everyday we have been here.
Tub time was lots of fun. splash splash. I even watched the water go down the drain. Then Grandpa flew me over to the bed where Grandma got me dressed for bed..We read books, said prayers, hugged and kissed then layed down for night night. Grandma got up to go to the bathroom and I started to cry so Grandpa came in and sang me to sleep..ba bay
I love you and hope you and daddy sleep well...Grandpa and Grandma are taking good care of me.....love V
