2, are you sure? Yep, he is 2!!!

I think we are still in a little shock that V is 2 years old! I am for sure, this past year has just flown by. His birthday celebrations spread out a bit due to scheduling so we started last Sunday with presents. Books that are trucks, trucks that are books - you can't go wrong. However, getting the dig-dig, as V calls it, out of the package was a bit difficult. Don't you love their matching faces of concentration?

Alls well though, they finally got it out of the box.

V really enjoyed blowing out his candles, and didn't even need help.

V had a lot of fun cleaning up too.

We just thought this pic was so funny. Despite appearances he isn't in the buff! He has his diaper on but we stripped him of his cake covered clothes, haha!

Celebrations continued at V's great-grandparents house today. He had a lot of fun opening his presents and kept them in giggles at his excitement.

Finally we finished celebrating at dinner with my parents and some of our friends. There was even a travelling magician that came to our table and had us all in awe.

5 kids, 1 toy....

Good thing there was a huge bag to play with.

Honestly I can't believe it has been two years that our little man has been in our lives. I won't pretend that everyday is perfect b/c anyone whose had a toddler knows there some crazy days, but every day is a gift and he is such a blessing in our lives. He is all boy, non-stop energy, and curious about everything. But he is always willing to pause for a hug or kiss. This year has been a lot of fun and I can't wait to see what the next year brings.
