Tonight we had our family Christmas dinner with my father's side. About 20 of us were able to make it. Unfortunately some had to miss it because of work, being sick, out of state, or stationed in Iraq and Hawaii. We missed them but pray that they will be able to spend the holidays with us soon.
After our yummy family potluck but before presents time, the little kids had fun playing with blocks.
Some of the big kids did too, haha!
We had fun opening presents although V almost missed it b/c of a nap but he woke up towards the end. This is my mom peaking over my nephew's shoulder to see how he plays the PSP game they bought him for Christmas.
V didn't really know what to do with more presents, he was still a little tired and bewildered that he had to wrip paper AGAIN to get to his toys! But after a little help to open them, he liked them.
This is one of his favorites he got on Christmas, it's his little car and he loves to get pushed around the kitchen tile on it. It makes real revving sounds and everything. He'll even just sit in it and play with the buttons and gears with out being pushed.
Of course after dinner, presents and dessert it was time for some Wii. Almost everyone in the family owns one now so they are quickly becoming a tradition. This is my mom and my neice "boxing". It's pretty funny to watch people box, and suprisingly tiring if you are the one doing it. But more amusing is my mom's competitive streak, she actually will start to block your view and such! Usually she doesn't much care for comptetive sports unless she actually attends a game or it's a playoff game, but turn on the Wii and boy that competitive streak pops out, haha!Well I think that finally brings our Christmas festivities to a close. We were able to spend a lot of time enjoying the season and enjoying friends and family too. Hopefully you all were able to also. See you next year!
