Fall is in full beauty up here. The leaves are changing and the air is getting that crisp feel and wonderful smell. Fall is my favorite time of year, the weather is great, the trees are beautiful and it has all the best holidays right in a row. This weekend we decided to kick off fall in full festivities. I made our first yummy beef stew of the season and we even got to have it in bread bowls. Oh, how I have missed the breadbowl. Yes, I know you think I should have had my share living near San Francisco but I do not like sourdough so alas I did not. However, up here we can get French breadbowls which are so tasty. This was followed by the season's first pumpkin pie. And speaking of pumpkins we started the festivities with a trip to the pumpkin patch. This was no patch though, it was the largest pumpkin field I have seen. They had so much to do also; hayrides, corn maze, train rides, pumpkin bowling, hay slide...the list can go on and on. It was both V and J's first time to a pumpkin patch. V had to dress up for the occasion of course. Everyone picked a pumpkin and we even got V a nice little V-sized one. As soon as we decorate the pumpkins I will put a picture up.

We also went over to the little state park nearby this evening and took a little walk. It is so beautiful on the Sound. I asked J how long until we can have a house on the water, he said 22 years! In all fairness all the houses down there were quite large. I wonder if he will cut my time if I ask for a smaller house?

Awww...how cute! V dressed for the occasion. It is so beautiful there. My family visited one summer for a vacation. We went to Mt. Rainer, Seattle, & Orcas Island. Is Orcas Island the sound? They look the same. Just beautiful there. What a place to live.
How fun! V is too cute in his pumpkin outfit! We are doing the same thing this coming weekend. Looks beautiful on the Sound. 22 years is a long time to wait for a house on the water... but well worth it!
LOVE those pumpkin pics!! He's a little stud and I cant believe he is already 4 months already!! That means shot time too...Good Luck:( Are you coming to UT for Thanksgiving??
I love it!! You all look so great! I can't wait to come visit you! ;)
Thanks for the advice. He finally had a bowel movement! Yea! Jen told me rice cereal did that to Connor. She had to switch to oatmeal for the fiber. We are trying that and if that doesn't work we will add in so pearsauce too! Yum Yum!
