THE NEXT AMERICAN IDOL

If you know me and J you know that we love music. So it's no wonder that V hears alot of music and singing and such through his day. However, just in the past few months he has started singing on his own. I will catch him singing in the back seat, or while he is playing with his train table and it's so cute. Usually it's either nonsense, or his favorite song which he calls the "Lightning McQueen song", the rest of us know as "Life is a Highway." But once he even started singing along to the airplane song in the car, you know "airplanes in the night sky like shooting stars..." which was adorable. He listens to alot of country with Grandpa and always tells me when he hears a song on the radio whether he listens to it with Grandpa and that he likes it! So of course I had to get some of this on video, but being a typical kid he didn't exactly perform on demand but here is the best of what I caught. It is his version of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and the alphabet which he has just mastered in it's entirety this past week. You will have to take my word for it that he knows A thru G! In fact when he was first learning it that is all he would sing and then I would have to pick up from there, but of course on video he left of the beginning and only sang the rest. Goofball. On that note, turn your volumn up and enjoy the musical stylings of V!

Cute! I love it that you all sing so much! It's great that you have it recorded too. I wish I would have recorded my older kids more.
