21 WEEKS AND A SOON-TO-BE-PRESCHOOLER

So I am 21 weeks along, or at least tomorrow I will be. The enjoyable part is the baby is kicking which is always fun, unless I have a full bladder of course! It will be really fun to see what V thinks of the baby moving once he is able to feel and see it too. I will have to be sure to get that on video. The not so enjoyable part is that unfortunately the "morning" sickness is still hanging on, boo. I tried to ween off the meds, but that didn't go so well so I am going to give it a few more weeks and try again. I have been having back pain too which isn't fun either. But an exciting thing, until the birth of course, is in one more week we will find out whether V is getting a baby sister as he adamantly insists or a baby brother. I can't wait! It will be fun to be able to focus on boy or girl names, which so far I have only been able to think of girl ones, not sure if that is V's influence or my desire to buy the cute little dresses I see at the stores, haha! Next Tuesday I will let you all know, what the color of the day is.

On another exciting note, V has been accepted to the early intervention preschool in our school district. As most of you know he has been attending speech therapy once a week for just over a year now. And although his vocab is expansive and he speaks in long long sentences and even paragraphs unfortunately his articulation is still lacking. Although those of us around him most often understand most of what he says, he still stumps us daily and his therapist said that if someone he didn't know talked to him they would maybe only understand half of what he said. His main problem is replacing harder constinents with easier ones or dropping them altogether, so 'follow' is 'bawoe' or 'tree' or 'ree'. So starting next September we will have a preschooler. He will attend 4 days a week at our elementary school that is just 4 blocks away. Since it's so close I could obviously walk him but they have a special bus only for preschoolers that even has car seats and a helper. It picks up/drops off each child at his/her driveway! V would absolutely LOVE to ride the bus, and I am thinking I would appreciate it too so I am not waddling there and back 9 months preggers or with a new born.

That's my mini-update for now.

I bet V will love preschool and the bus. Evan got to ride the bus to school when he was that age (and still does). Vanessa was/is always extremely jealous, and still has never gotten to ride a bus to school. (I, personally, have tried to tell her that riding the bus really isn't that cool. :) We always focus on girl names first (I just like them better). We have a really hard time picking out boy names. We just can't ever seem to agree on any. Can't wait to hear the news!

How exciting! I love it when you can feel the first kicks. Hopefully the morning sickness stops soon. Sounds like it has been bad for you. Can't wait to see what you are having.
