BLUEBERRY PANCAKES: He may look like his dad but he eats like his mom and we both love blueberry pancakes. We usually have blueberry pancakes each weekend, however this morning he was more excited and active than usual while eating them. He got so messy he looked like a smurf! The picture doesn't do it justice but the boy was stained blue! 
BUMP: While keeping us company as we were getting ready for church, V was sucker tripped by the bathroom rug and did a faceplant into the door frame. Not pretty to watch and scared me a ton. As usual though he took little time to calm down and just wanted to get back to playing. He is sporting quiet the cro-magnon size bump on his brow now though which seems to be turning more purple as the day passes. Thankfully my first-time mom fears were set at ease by Dr. Bobcat, thanks!
BACKYARD FUN: We couldn't resist spending some time in the backyard with such beautiful weather. And of course, with our houseguest V was more than willing to run around playing catch. I may be changing my tune about having a dog and babies. I used to think it was too much work to have both, but V does nothing but giggle and want to play with Duke. Even after naps when he would usually be grouchy, he scrambles out of my arms the minute he sees Duke and wants to play! That kind of baby entertainment could really come in handy.

Looks like a fun day. It is amazing how scared the parents get when their kids get hurt, but they usually get over it pretty fast.... Its the parents that don't forget.

Hello, yes it is exciting! We want to let it be a suprise. But it gets harder every time I think about it. I want to know... but I don't. You know? hahah.
