WHAT A CUTIE

Yes, I do realize that this blog that once used to be about "us" is now mostly about "him" but honestly can you blame me? He is just so darn adorable and addicting. So if you are tired of posts about V, I am sorry but it doesn't look good for things to change anytime soon.
On to the cutie at hand. V enjoyed his first Easter. My aunt and uncle attended church with us for their first time. V was so excited to see them he probably made it a little hard for them to hear the speakers but we are still so glad they came. After a traditional ham dinner it was on to V's first egg hunt. He didn't have to look hard or long and thought the new "toys" were fun to shake so he could hear the Cheerios inside. After the hunt V showed his approval and thanks by clapping. He loves to clap now and anytime he is happy or having fun he loves to show it by clapping. It's so cute to hear the little pat pat.

I know I have said before that our boy is growing like a weed and boy is he, and so is his hair! It probably doesn't help that both J and I have quick growing hair so he got a double dose. He could already use a haircut but right now we are having too much fun styling it in the tub and calling him a fuzzball each day, haha!

We think he is only a week or two from walking as his cruising is now only one handed and he takes many starts of the couch but only gets 2 or 3 steps in before sitting down. And the more mobile he gets the more he can get into, around, under...you name it. A good example is last week he moved two large and somewhat heavy diaper boxes to get to the chair and then proceeded to crawl under and over the legs to escape his play area! He was so proud of himself.

To try and combat his escapes and also to manage the mess of toys we got him his first toy box. Of course not even 24 hours passed and he already figured out how to crawl in and out.
The toy box did put an end to escape attempts (for now), holds all his toys, entertains him and even got the tongue-smile seal of approval so it worth the money.
Tomorrow he attends his first day at toddler gym, I can't wait to see all the fun stuff they have for the kids to do. I am sure he will love it.

I can imagine the fun you guys have watching him everyday. I am entertained by the pictures and I am sure the pictures don't do justice to how fun he really is. Only 3 1/2 more months... are you so excited? I hope you know what I am talking about :)

I love the spikey hair pic! He looks like a curious little boy! Is he walking yet then? You'll have to let me know how he likes the toddler gym because I've thought about that for Conner just haven't gotten around to it yet.
