For those of you concerned, we did survive. It had been a long long week but thanks to my mom packing and friends helping load the truck, we were on our way.
V decided he wanted to help Daddy drive the Uhaul...maybe not yet.
He also enjoyed the large comfy bed at the hotel the first night. We will discuss sharing soon.
We drove slowly up the coast so we didn't overwhelm the little guy. We were able to stop at the Redwoods National Park. J and I really enjoyed living so near the Redwoods all up and down the coast and will miss hiking through them. They are so beautiful.
And with views like this it's not annoying to stop for feedings at all. The Oregon coast is gorgeous.
Our last stop was in Cannon Beach to see the famous Haystack Rock. We are already hoping to return sometime for a family vacation.
We had a great time driving up the coast and made a lot of family memories. And as I was looking on my parents computer I found a picture of another favorite memory of the Oregon coast. When I was little we went to the coast to play on the sand dunes. However it was very windy and the sand was getting in my face, so my sister brought a big beach towel and covered us both up so that the sand wouldn't get in my eyes. Thanks K!
