SETTLING IN

Well we have been up here for over a week now and we are getting settled pretty well. We are out of suitcases and all the rest is in storage. V is still resisting sleeping in his new crib so if anybody has any suggestions I would love to hear them. (Except for cry-it-out methods, I can't do that.) We had a pretty quiet holiday weekend. We stayed close to home minus a visit over to the Great-grandparents house. Again, V was a hit with the Great-grans. Great-grandpa pushed him on a walk and was showing him off to all the neighbors. He even told all the little neighbor kids to come over and see "how cute they used to be" haha.

Just the family lounging at the Great-grans house.

Since we have moved up here V has gotten to use his big jogging stroller and boy does he like it. He will stay happy in there much longer than he will in the small stroller.

We went for a walk at a wildlife refuge near my parents house. Of course the boys couldn't just walk with us women and the baby.

We were happy to see most the wildlife, but there was one little fellow who I was not so happy to see and quickened my pace to get away from him. I threatened to make my mom walk home if she got sprayed taking pictures, haha!

Today, mom, me and V went to the Fair. It was V's first time of course, and my first time back since I was 3. I liked how the argriculture was displayed, they all made different designs. It looked so good I just wanted to grab some and eat it.
Here we are looking at all the pretty quilts. That is some talent and patience I do not posses, I wish though.
Look how cute we all are with our hats on to guard from the sun. This usually is the nicest time of year up here, but even with that in mind it has been quite warm. I am not sure how V enjoyed the Fair but me and mom loved the pulled pork sandwiches, yum!
