FARKLE ANYONE?

My parents had to use a timeshare week, so they just got a place close by so that Dad could still go to work. We went up on Saturday to visit. It was on the Sound and we watched five seals play in the water just off the dock. Though it was an overcast day it was still very pretty with the Olympics in the background. In fact, Bill and Melinda Gates have a retreat just down the road from the condo! My uncle (the one who sang Christmas songs to my belly while I was pregnant) and my aunt came out to visit also so they could meet V. We played this fun dice came called Farkle too, I won!V wants to be sitting up or even standing all the time now but he can't quite hold himself up so we bought him a Bumbo seat. Unfortunately we only had a choice between pink, purple or this hideous mint green that reminded me of a pair of jelly shoes that I lost going off a rope swing on a canoe trip when I was younger. So don't tell J his son has a purple seat! V seems to like it though, he looks sorta like he sunk into a purple marshmellow.

Today we went on a walk around the neighborhood. And it was very pleasant and V was giggling and kicking and enjoy the ride. However when he did a big spit up I went to wipe his face and realized that we had lost the burp clothe somewhere on our little trip. So I just used his bib and then took it off. But when we arrived home I got a surprise when I saw that the little guy had been sucking and even licking on the Bjorn the rest of the way home! He seemed to really like it and had drooled all over it, more on the inside, but still happy as a clam. Goofy baby.

And the biggest news of all, V GIGGLES!!!! Real giggles. Unfortunately we haven't gotten it on video yet, but hopefully we will soon and then figure out how to post it. It's the cutest sound you have ever heard, I love it! Look for the video soon.
