BABYMOON

As I am getting far in the pregnancy we decided to take a "babymoon" before I was not allowed to travel anymore. We chose to go to San Diego as I have never been and we both wanted to see the sights.

First stop was the San Diego Temple, thankfully we made it just in time to attend one of the last sessions. It is definitely one of the most beautiful temples.

Although it's so large it's hard to get us and the temple in the same shot, oh well!
The next morning it was off to the Zoo. We spent most the day there enjoying all the animals, most of which are sadly on the endangered or vunerable list. It was so fun too see all the babies too, there where quite a few. There were two gorilla babies hitching a ride on their mama's backs, and a very protective big horn sheep guarding her baby, and tiny delicate gazelle babies. In the treehouse behind J there is one of the many koalas, he was very entertaining.

Here is one of my favorite zoo babies. He is only a few months old and his name was Travis, isn't he so cute?

We stayed across the street from the famous Hotel Del, very large and elegant. And though staying there was out of our price range my dear husband did take me to one of their famous brunches our last morning. We watched dolphins playing in the waves as we ate breakfast on the veranda.
Enjoying the beach, though the water was very cold! Look at that big belly, my gosh it is getting larger every day. And he is becoming very opinionated about food, comfortable positions etc. He jumps for joy after I eat some ice cream, haha!
One last parting shot of the beautiful sunset from the beach. It was definitely a great weekend.
