JUST TRYING TO KEEP UP

I am sure every mother feels like she is just trying to keep up somedays. Honestly though, I think my child only has one speed: GO! He is into, on, under, on top of everything. And fast, everything is done as warp speed. But dang he is just so cute. Like how we still can't figure out how he gets pizza sauce between his eyes while eating...

Or how he is totally in love with his new tricycle we found on Craigslist (oh how I love Craig and his many lists). Bonus for us, we can steer so we still have some semblence of control, some.
And lately, I have been really trying to let him be more independent, like choosing his own clothes and such. Well at the store I have been letting him "help" push the cart. Not only to keep him occupied but also in an attempt to burn off some of that energy. It's often a trial in patience on my part but he really gets a kick out of it. However, this trip he was particularly "helpful" due to the cans of Elmo soup and boxes of Cheerios strategically placed with in toddler reach. By the time we got home I was so thankful it was bedtime although I was probably looking forward to sleep more than him, when what should I find but a package. Hmm, what would it be, I don't remember ordering anything. Alas, it's from Sara who mysteriously promised a surprise for V...
Yep, that sums my life up perfectly. Thanks Sara.

He is so cute. I feel your pain. I wish you many naps and quiet moments.

You are so welcome! I'm glad you like it (but sorry it's so applicable--believe me, I know the feeling!) :)

I NEED three of those shirts! I don't know if I told you that we have a blog. You can check it out, but I'll warn you that it's not too excited lately.
