LONG AWAITED VISIT

There was much excitement and preperations for our visitor this week. Somehow though when V was being extra quiet while I was getting ready I knew he wasn't being helpful. So when I peeked around the corner I wasn't that surprised to find he had found the tissue box... Oh well he had some harmless messy fun! Not much could dampen my spririts because finally after multiple schedules and re-schedules on both our parts we were able to plan a weekend good for both of us and my best friend Noelle came up to visit. We haven't seen her since we moved from California, so I was so excited for a girl's day out. We started with lunch and then hit the salon for mani's and new haircuts and then a bit of shopping. I went short with bangs, what do you think?

On Saturday we drove up to Bremerton and took the ferry over to Seattle (like McDreamy, haha!) It was fun but incredibly windy on the deck. V loved it though and we all were cracking up at his hair!

We could see Mt. Rainier and the rest of the Cascades, as well as the Olympic mountains and the Seattle skyline, the whole trip was very beautiful and scenic. And it was such a gorgeous and warm day.

After riding the ferry we decided we should hit some more traditional Seattle sights so we had lunch on the pier, and then went to one of my favorite places Pike Place Market. Unfortunately the nice weather combined with a multitude of other events happening in the city including a visit by the Dalai Lama meant the market was beyond crowded. I have never seen it so packed you couldn't even move, the packed crowd began to frighten V so we made a quick exit and just enjoyed the surrounding sights.

We took the monorail over to the Seattle center where the Space Needle is. V and I rode the Dumbo ride. He was so content to just go around and around and smile at Daddy and Noelle watching.


It was a fun but too short weekend and we can't wait to see "Aunt Noe" again. Hopefully next time we can squeeze in a few hours at the Outlets, right lady haha! And if anyone else would like to come visit we would be happy to show you the sights too...
