I was tagged by Amy, who I think is the only person I know that beats our story for quick marriages, to tell the story of how we met and got married. Well it actually all started my last year of high school. J had already graduated and his sister and brother-in-law were living in my stake in Ohio and invited him to help build their house. J wanted to get out of Utah and also had a year before his mission so he accepted. We met at institute, my best friend and I noticed the cute new guy but she swiped him up before me, haha. They dated for that whole year and the three of us would hang out a lot. I left for college that next fall, and J left for his mission in the DR. When he returned I was still at BYU and we reconnected through a mutal friend from Ohio. For the next few years we hung out off and on, but then lost touch again soon. However, in the fall of 2003, the same friend helped us reconnect again. We hung out once with her but soon we both realized we wanted to hang out just the two of us. That was October, J had already been accepted to and had defered a semester at MIIS. He was suppossed to start in January so we realized that if we wanted to be together we needed to act fast. So we quickly organized a wedding in Vegas for just a small group of family and friends. So about 7 years after we first met but only 2 months after we started dating we were married on December 13 with about 40 of our family and closest friends present. And since we both aren't a huge fan of wedding cake we had Dairy Queen ice cream cake instead, yummy! And we have been enjoying our shared love of ice cream and each other ever since, oh how cheesy, haha!
So I tag Adrienne, Felicity, Channa, Christina and Jen.

PS - I was just going to borrow a dress from my friend but while I was out shopping for a new veil I tried this dress on as a joke b/c the bottom was so puffy. But I LOVED it so I had to have it, can you believe I only paid $100! It was a lot puffier at the start of the day. The lady who altered and cleaned it for me offered to pay me $600 for it but I wouldn't budge, I loved it too much, still do. Hopefully we will have a girl someday who can wear it for her wedding.
