Well here we are with only one month to go. We can't believe the time has passed so quickly. I remember when I thought the morning sickness would never end. Now I am just hoping we will be all ready for him! Like I said before mom was here helping us get organized and make room for the little guy and of course she had to take pictures of my LARGE belly before she left. We won't discuss numbers here but it's truthful to say I have gained my fair share. But the little guy is big too, he is measuring a few weeks ahead of how far I actually am. Looks like we will be having a little chunk, haha!
And another day I didn't think would come, my last day of work!!! It's exciting and a bit daunting at the same time. I haven't been without a job to go to everyday for years. But I am pretty sure I will just relish next week and spend some quality time on the couch in my pj's watching some Netflix videos. Not the most productive plan but people keep telling me to rest up so I figure I will take their advice - good times! At work they sent me off quite nicely with a large bouquet of flowers that smell awesome, some yummy strawberry cheesecake and a generous gift certificate to buy some essentials we are still lacking.
For those of you that don't know my office dealt with the Japanese market and over there it's a tradition to give someone leaving the company a well wishes plaque that everyone has signed, and so they also made one of those for me wishing J and I the best with the new baby. I of course had to promise to bring the little guy in after he makes his appearance for everyone to meet.
