WAITING GAME

So we had an appoitment set for induction. Called an hour before our appoitment to check-in and were told come on in. Only to have all craziness break loose at the Birth Center in the hour between our phone call and showing up. So after waiting for 90 mins we were sent home to await a phone call. Then after a much appreciated nap and a few more hours of waiting we got the call - Nope not today. Bummer. I thought the waiting was over. I had been anxious all week that I was about to have 2 kids, 2!!! But maybe it was a blessing in disguise. Now instead of being anxious and worrying if I am up for this- two kids, double responsibility, sleepless nights again etc.- I am more annoyed b/c my house was clean, my laundry was done, bags packed. Now we are living out of bags, and I am scrambling to figure out a couple more days of dinners without going to the grocery store b/c I don't want anything spoiling while we are at the hospital. And poor V, he was so excited to have a baby sister. He doesn't understand why she isn't here yet. But we have another appoitment set and hopefully this time it will proceed as hoped. And so until then we are just hanging out and waiting to meet our baby girl.
