Let me just apologize for misleading you in the title. I can not with a clean conscience desribe what we went to last Saturday with some friends as a haunted maze. Just for the record 20 strobe lights, 5 clown masks and a chainsaw does not constitute a haunted maze. That and it wasn't a maze it was a path, they even said so in the instructions just before we entered! Isn't that false advertising to say it's a maze but really it's just a path through the corn?!?!? But more importantly, it just wasn't scary. Not one bit. Honestly, and I am afraid of clowns so it should have at least given me the shivers. Unfortunately the only shivers any of us were getting was from standing in the cold for two hours. I don't think any of us could even feel our toes by the time we got back to the car, J is lucky his didn't fall off as he wasn't wearing any socks! I am pretty sure I am banned from planning any more date night activities for awhile as it was my idea. But in my defense, I didn't know! I have been to some pretty awesome and very fright enducing haunted mazes in my time. Once me and my roomates actually got lost in a haunted maze in college for two hours!!! IN THE MAZE, b/c it was actually a maze a real one with only one way in and one way out. We ended up having to chase one of the scary people down and make him show us the way out. Now that was a scary fun time. I may call the owners and suggest they send someone to Utah and learn how to put together an actually scary haunted maze. At least we had some good conversation and great laughs while we waited. Hopefully they will forgive me soon for the letdown activity. Not that all my activity ideas are a letdown though. Tonight was definitely the perfect night for pumpkin picking. The sky was blue, it has been dry for a few days so there wouldn't be much mud and it was actually nice enough that no jackets were required. We had some good times. V liked riding in the wheelbarrow and tried to pick up almost every pumpkin he saw. They also had a small petting zoo that he and J enjoyed while I hunted for a white pumpkin. But my hunt was in vain, I am a little particular about my pumpkins and I couldn't find a white one up to my standards, they go fast and early in the season so there weren't many left. But we did find three regular pumpkins, one tiger pumpkin, a miniture white pumpkin, two yellow and green gourds and a white gourd that looks either like a ghost or an octopus with short tenticles! And all for the bargain basement price of $8.25! Oh yes, not only are pumpkin farms much more fun but also a much better deal than just picking your pumpkin out at the grocery store. And please no comments asking whether I am pregnant or not. I am NOT. I realize that I am chubby and in the first pic I even look like I am craddling my belly but nope I was just trying to sit down quick after showing the lady how to work my camera. No prego, just chubbo. But a happy chubbo enjoying my favorite time of year, now if I could just find someplace with lots of crunchy leaves to walk through...

other than the not really being a maze.. or haunted, I am sure you had fun being out with friends. Are you guys just staying home for Thanksgiving? I know that was kinda your plan last time we talked.
The pumpkin patch looks GREAT! V is getting so big!
Hey cutie! It looks like fun I can't even remember the last time Ross and I went out with friends. Pumkin patches are the best.
