JUST TRYING TO KEEP UP

Sorry it has been a bit since my last post. I didn't even realize until I got a few requests. We really have just been hanging out close to home. V has just made huge strides in his mobility and I spend most the day either trying to keep up or trying to keep him closed in so I can get some things done. I don't do either well. He crawls now, and the first time he crawled to the stairs he started to go up them with no problem or help! This does not bode well for our future of keeping up with him. He also crawls over his gates to keep him in the play area. And last night he even climbed on top of his little scooter and was trying to climb over a large bin to get to J!!! Honestly he is a monkey! We had a house guest for a few days. A little daschsund named Duke. At first V was a little hesitant of him up close. Duke however had no qualms with V and continued to give V his ball to throw. Duke also liked to lick V's face and hands which he didn't enjoy, although he never cried he just tried to get away, haha.
My grandparents however, loved when we took Duke over to see them. They used to have a daschsund years ago and wanted to keep him.

By then end of his stay though V had really warmed up to Duke and liked to try and grab his tail. They were quite cute together. He can sit on his scooter all by himself now and even move. However he only goes in reverse!

My mom also gave him those meditation balls that have chimes in them to play with. He loves to throw them on the floor so they make noise. He then crawls chasing them all over the floor, it's really cute. (Please excuse my pj bottoms and funny socks! They may not be cute but they were keeping my feet warm.)

All in all we love our little cutie, no matter how far and long he makes us chase him. It's all worth it because he loves to give snuggles and "kisses"!

Van is a cutie. And by the way I love the socks. I can't believe he is crawling..... Isn't he to young? Next time I see him he will probably be walking. Make him stop growing until I can see him again. :)
