GETTING SO BIG

V is now 2 mos old! Everyday it seems like he is getting bigger, stronger and learning something new. He is starting to grow out of his newborn clothes. However J and I question whoever sizes baby clothes. V is practically too tall for 3 mos already yet not chubby enough for 6 mos. For example the outfit below is 3-6 mos, it's a bit wide but works however the matching booties are squeezing his toes and the hat is tight on his head. But then he has an a onesie that is too short and the matching booties to that are way too large!!! Honestly baby sizing makes no sense, oh well he looks cute anyway. (J said I should start a new blog just for my daily rants, I like to call them observations - I just might!)
He is getting very good at holding his head up and steady while on your shoulder. He very much likes to see what is happening all around him.

I just couldn't resist taking pictures of him while he slept in the swing. Doesn't he look like a complete angel, who would guess that he was being a stinkpot about 15 mins earlier, haha. He knows how to work Mama already, no matter how much of a pooh he has been as soon as he gives me a smile all is well.

V was a hit at lunch with my old co-workers. He is such a charmer.

V is also learning how to help with chores. Here he is keeping Daddy on his toes at the laundry mat so that we don't waste anytime.

And like I said he is learning new things each day. He has learned to find his fist to suck on. He pushes his head and chest up when you give him bellytime, which he hates, haha! And the other day while we were making dinner all the sudden J said "Look at him!" and he had found his ring on his playmat and was holding on to it for the first time!
Yesterday we decided to go to our favorite breakfast place, I was craving some yummy coconut-rasberry-granola pancakes and J wanted the eggs with chorizo. As we were walking down we saw these two deer in somebody's front yard. It was funny b/c only one deer ate at a time while the other stood lookout. That's a friend, haha.

And breakfast was great! Even V enjoyed some bacon, just kidding!
