GIVE THANKS

I hope this Thanksgiving Day post finds all of you enjoying a wonderful holiday with family and friends. This year J and I have so much to be thankful for; most obviously our loving family and friends, J graduating with his MPA and us getting sealed just to name a few. But this Thanksgiving we feel we have even more to be grateful for. As many of you know we have been trying for some time to start our own family and have had some discouraging setbacks. Now though we feel we can share our blessed news... WE ARE PREGNANT!!!

The above is a picture of our little one at the 8 week check-up! Last Tuesday was the 12 week mark and we got to hear the heartbeat. Nothing is so beautiful as the sound of that fast little "swosh-swish, swosh-swish"! We feel so blessed to be able to have such amazing news to share and we are looking forward to our June 5th due date with much excitment, anticipation and just a wee bit of anxiety, haha!

The first few weeks were a bit bumpy and troubled but now things are progressing great. The baby and I are passing each check-up with flying colors and we hope to continue to do so. I wish I could say the "morning" sickness has also passed, but unfortunately that is one prayer that I am still waiting for to be answered, haha! However, J is being so patient and answering every request for "Crispix please" with no grumbles.
